Dr. Barry Lieberman, chiropractor, nutritionist, beverly hills My own clinical experience has shown that at least 80% of chronic pain sufferers (including backache, low back pain, upper back pain, joint pain, headaches, leg pain, shoulder pain, neck pain, and chronic muscle pain) have delayed muscle reflexes. The reason that you've never heard of this before is because muscle reflexes are usually measured for their strength, or force; not their reaction speed. Muscle reflexes that are delayed by a few milliseconds (fractions of a second) can lead to widespread chronic pain, from as little as 3 months to as much as ten years after their onset. This extremely important sign is virtually unknown in conventional pain management, treatment for chronic pain, and any chronic pain relief center.

How can you find out if your muscle reflexes are delayed? You might think that you will have to find a chronic pain specialist deep within the hierarchy of a big hospital, somewhere in a big city like Los Angeles, but this is not the case. Delayed muscle reflexes can be revealed by a knowledgeable and skilled chiropractor who correctly uses muscle testing. Our unique, completely painless and comfortable testing method is available in Beverly Hills. Detecting delayed reflexes does not require stress, needles, shocks, or even muscle strength. It is totally non-invasive, so you will feel comfortable to request an appointment.phone

What if I have chronic pain because of an injury? An injury can be the precipitating event in your life that leads you down the chronic pain cascade. Your pain was precipitated by the injury and is the reason your pain started. Yet, the reason why you still have pain after all this time (and failed treatments) is usually separate from the precipitating factor. If the injury caused a change in the structure of your body, we could say there is an exception to this rule. However, in this case there is a general rule that your body is not following: i.e., after an injury your body should start a healing process.

So why isn't this happening for you? The reason is that your natural innate healing potential in your body has been turned off, blocked, diminished or delayed. After this precipitating event, your healing potential got turned off. How can you know if this is the cause of your chronic pain? Our specific and unique muscle testing method. Our task is to clearly find what is holding back your healing potential. The injury itself should not be holding back the subsequent healing process. The injury is just the precipitating event.

Delayed muscle reflexes - the key to understanding your body: When we detect these delayed reflexes they will show us that there is 1. a measurable problem, 2. what is wrong, and 3. how to unblock your healing potential. The key is truly understanding what is going on in your body. We want to stop trying to chase away, or fight the symptoms because that doesn't work. The key is not a cure from the outside, the key is to find your whole body cures from within. Your key is to find the right chiropractor who is not looking to fight your chronic pain, but instead to unblock your healing potential. Unblocking your healing potential will address the mechanism of why you still have your chronic pain. To unblock your healing potential will allow your own healing process to re-ignite within you, and set you free.
